Tiny Life

All my favorite photographs of tiny little creatures.

Tiny Wildlife

I was a weird little kid. I didn't watch cartoons so much, but I loved to watch Animal Planet. My favorites were the shows that showed a closeup of insects as if they were the size of zebras and lions. The drama and magesty that looking up close afforded these seemingly tiny animals was gripping. I'm trying to replicate some of that grandeur in my photos.

I do my best to identify all the animals and plants I take pictures of, but sometimes that's difficult. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

About The Artist

The natural world was my first love, since I was a little girl splashing headlong after crawfish in the creek behind my house. Creepy crawlies of all kinds have been the main object of fascination for me. Though anything exceptionally small have been my particular favorites. Overlooked and misunderstood, they draw my attention as much as any larger, more charasmatic animal.
